Kanha National Park, Country Club IndiaKanha National Park, the largest tiger reserve in Central India is still as breathtaking as in the days of Mowgli and Munna, a giant male tiger as powerful as the legendary Sher Khan from Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle Book still rules over the Kanha!

Kanha is one of the finest & best administered National Parks in Asia, an attraction for wildlife lovers, a true heaven for its animal and park’s flora and fauna. Kanha National Park is in the Mandla and Balaghat districts of Madhya Pradesh, India. In the 1930s, Kanha area was divided into two sanctuaries, Hallon and Banjar, of 250 and 300 km². This park was created on 1 June 1955. Today it stretches over an area of 940 km² in the two districts Mandla and Balaghat together with a surrounding buffer zone of 1,067 km².

In 1894, the mighty forests of Kanha inspired Rudyard Kipling to pen his famous novel, the Jungle Book and thanks to the conservation efforts, the Kanha National Park still thrives with the Royal Bengal tigers, leopards, Barasingha, sloth bears, wild dogs, wild cats, foxes and jackals.

Perched on the banks of the Banjar River, Country Club wild Chalet is the ideal gateway to Kanha NatioKanha National Park, Country Clubnal Park. Each of the Charming cream washed cottages, with a spray of bougainvillea growing over their sloping tiled roofs, command a magnificent view of the river with a backdrop of lush forests. The spacious and extremely comfortable rooms are equipped with all modern amenities to ensure a perfect retreat in the wilds. Naturalists help you unravel the mystery called Kanha during your stay as they guide you through Jungle safaris, nature walks, elephant rides, bird watching and wildlife films.
